How to file a complain at BvG?

I was paying for the Deutschalandticket as well as the VBB one (So paying 120 EUR instead of 49 EUR).

I want to file a complain and inquire why I was overcharged. I'm positive I only signed a contract for the Deutschalandticket.

I couldn't find any way to reach out to BvG on their website. They just offer a chatbot which is not very useful.

Have you had similar experiences? Is there an email I can use to reach out to BvG? If someone could offer me some advice, that would be greatly appreciated.

The chatbot really is useless, I've been there. For BvG specifically, you're better off writing to them at [email protected], that's the address that actually gets read, though they can take a few days to respond. Also check your BvG account under "Mein Konto" for the contract details, sometimes the second charge is an old VBB subscription that auto-renewed without you noticing, so you might need to cancel that separately with a Kündigung. If email doesn't work, the customer center at Alexanderplatz handles complaints in person, bring your bank statement and the confirmation emails for both tickets.

honestly just check your bank statement first, might be a pre-auth thing. also their imprint page sometimes has a legal contact, worth a peek.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
