DHL delivery man ate my package?

I have a note saying that the package was delivered to a packstation but at the packstation, neither the number nor the code is recognized. DHL chat is, obviously, unhelpful.

Has anyone had a situation like this? What can I do? The contents were quite expensive + important to me, and as it shows as "delivered" I don't think I'll get a refund from the shop.

edit: I forgot to mention it's an international delivery. I already contacted the store, hoping for the best.

yo that sucks but this actually happens more than u think. first thing, check if the packstation number on the note is even real, sometimes the courier just scans a random one to meet quota. go to the DHL website and file a "Nachforschung" (investigation request) with the tracking number, they have to look into it within a few days. also, if it was international, the sender can open a case with their postal service which often gets more traction than the local DHL chat. i had a similar thing once, turns out the driver left it at a different packstation across town, the note had the right number but the station was wrong, so check the DHL app for the actual station location, not just the note. if nothing works, file a police report for theft, the shop will usually refund u once u show them that.

ngl the packstation thing is a known trick, sometimes the driver scans it as delivered to hit their quota but the package never actually makes it there. since it's international, check if the sender used DHL Express or just standard parcel, cause express has a different support line that's way more responsive. also, try the DHL app and look at the "delivery proof" photo, if there's one, it shows where it was actually left. if the note says packstation but the photo shows something else, that's ur evidence for the police report.

hmm that packstation thing is sketchy af. if the number checks out on the app but the code fails, sometimes they lock it after failed attempts, try again tomorrow. also check ur spam for a second DHL email, they sometimes send a different pickup code that takes a while to arrive. worst case, go to the store itself, the staff there can sometimes override it if it's still in the system, they're more useful than the hotline

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
