I checked Union Berlin but it says you have to be a member to buy tickets, so I'm looking for a game where I can easily buy a ticket online or at the stadium, thanks!

hertha bsc plays at home that day against paderborn, tickets usually go on sale to the general public a couple weeks before on their website. the olympiastadion is massive so even if it's not sold out you'll find something, just don't expect a super intense atmosphere since the team's been mid-table for years. if you're near the ground on matchday there's always scalpers outside but they'll charge double

if you're up for a lower league vibe, Tennis Borussia Berlin are playing at home that day. their ground is at the Mommsenstadion near the olympic park, tickets are like 10 euros at the gate and no membership needed. it's not bundesliga quality but the atmosphere is proper local, fans bring drums and stuff. just check their website to confirm kickoff time a day or two before

You could check out Hertha BSC II, the reserve team. They play at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark that day, which is right near the Mauerpark flea market if you want to make a day of it. Tickets are around 10 euros at the gate and there is no membership requirement, just show up and pay cash. The standard of football is lower than the main Hertha team but you get a proper local feel with a few hundred fans around.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
