How much cash for a week in Barranquilla?

I'm heading to Barranquilla in a couple months and trying to figure out a daily budget for food, transport, and a few outings. What's a realistic amount for a mid-range traveler? honestly for mid-range you're looking at around 150-200k pesos a day, that's like 35-45 usd. that covers a decent lunch at a sitio like la casa del pescado for 20k, a cheap almuerzo ejecutivo for 12k, and a couple of buses or taxis. add another 20-30k for a couple of beers at la troja or a nice dinner at la puerta de oro.

if you want to hit up a club like la casa de la luna or a show at the estadio, budget another 50-80k for entry and drinks. so for a week, 1.2-1.5 million pesos is safe if u're not going crazy. bring some extra for souvenirs or a last minute parranda, it's easy to overspend here

depends on what u call mid-range tbh. if you're staying in norte or near the rio hotel zone, prices jump fast. like a beer at a nice rooftop bar is 15-18k, not 3k on the street. i'd say 250k a day

tbh you can get by on less if you lean into street food and the bulevar for cheap eats, arepas de huevo from a cart run like 3-5k and a fresh jugo de corozo is 2k. for transport just use the transmilenio or a buseta instead of taxis, 2.3k per ride vs 7-10k minimum for a cab. if you're alright skipping the touristy clubs and just hang at a corner store with a pola for 3k, you can do a solid week on 800k pesos no problem. just watch out for the heat, you'll spend more on water and coconut than you think
