good list, i'd add the museum audio guide is worth it just for the bronze section. also the opera, saturday shows sell out faster than sunday, so grab tickets a day ahead if u can
nice work putting this together, the Fuxing Road food section is spot on. one thing id add is that Lao Zhang's stall actually shifts to a spot just past the canal bridge on weekends, took me 20 min of wandering to figure that out first time. also his hand pulled noodles sell out by like 8:30 so dont roll up at 11 expecting a bowl.
for the night market on Binhe, the silk scarves near the north entrance are marked up way more than the ones deeper in, same stuff basically. and yeah bargaining is expected but starting at half works better on crafts than on food, vendors get weird about haggling over snacks lol.
the fish head soup at Riverside is legit but ask for it mild unless you can handle real heat, the default is no joke.
been going to Zhugang Grand Theater for years and nobody ever mentions the balcony seats. theyre 30 yuan same as the cheapest floor seats but the view down onto the stage is way better for the costume detail, which is honestly the main draw if you dont follow the dialect. saturday shows are more polished but sunday crowds are thinner and the actors sometimes do a short q&a after, in mandarin only tho.
also for Purple Mountain, theres a side trail that splits off about 40 min up near the little shrine, it adds maybe 20 min but skips the worst of the switchbacks and drops you at the same summit. locals use it constantly, just follow anyone carrying a thermos.

good guide overall, the budget numbers are pretty spot on from my experience. one thing i'd flag is the botanical garden, the 30 CNY entry is real but the shuttle inside costs extra and honestly the themed gardens are all walkable in 2 hrs so skip it. also bus 22 gets packed on weekends after 9am, we ended up standing the whole way, so leave before 8 if u can. the rice noodle stalls on renmin are legit but the good ones sell out by 9, dont roll up at 10 expecting much
Solid write-up, the bus and metro details are accurate. One thing I'd add: the combo ticket at 80 CNY is only sold at the museum ticket window, not online, and they stop selling it after 3:00 PM, so grab it on Day 1 morning if you want it. Also, the Night Market Street stalls mostly take mobile payment now but the older vendors near the north end still prefer cash, so keep 50 CNY or so in your pocket. I'd skip the Garden Cafe on Day 3 and eat at the small noodle place just outside the botanical garden's west gate instead, cheaper and better.
the harbor view seafood rec is good but book a table if ur going on a weekend, we walked in saturday at noon & waited 40 min. also the promenade stretch between binjiang ave & the wharf is way nicer on foot than bus 5, only like 25 min & u pass the old fish market which is worth a peek. one thing the guide missed: the museum closes mondays but so does the art museum, so dont stack both on a monday like we almost did
