good writeup, saving this for when my cousin visits next month. one thing i'd add on the seafood side: Seafood Garden on Haibin is decent but you're paying avenue prices. the wet market off Jiefang Road has a row of dai pai dong style stalls where you pick your crab or mantis shrimp live and they cook it for like 15 yuan processing fee. bring it to stall 4, the one with the older couple, they do a ginger scallion prep that's better than most restaurants.
also the guide's timing on the night market is a bit off for stall 12. those hand pulled noodles usually sell out by 9 or 9:30, not 1 AM. the market itself runs late but the good stalls thin out early. go before 8 if you actually want the beef noodles.

this is a handy roundup, the stall numbers check out which is more than most posts manage. one angle nobody's hit yet is the seasonal stuff. the guide mentions Spring Festival but the better window imo is late autumn, around October, when the hairy crab from the local ponds shows up and every mid-range restaurant does a set menu. Seafood Garden jacks its prices for it but the small places along Haibin do a whole crab with ginger and vinegar for around 60 to 80 depending on size.
also fwiw the fried milk near the library is a winter thing mostly, the auntie packs up around November when it gets cold. if you go in summer she's usually selling cold grass jelly instead, 6 yuan, which honestly i prefer anyway.

good guide overall, the budget numbers are pretty spot on from my experience. one thing i'd flag is the botanical garden, the 30 CNY entry is real but the shuttle inside costs extra and honestly the themed gardens are all walkable in 2 hrs so skip it. also bus 22 gets packed on weekends after 9am, we ended up standing the whole way, so leave before 8 if u can. the rice noodle stalls on renmin are legit but the good ones sell out by 9, dont roll up at 10 expecting much

One thing I'd add: the combo ticket at 80 CNY is only sold at the museum ticket window, not online, and they stop selling it after 3:00 PM, so grab it on Day 1 morning if you want it. Also, the Night Market Street stalls mostly take mobile payment now but the older vendors near the north end still prefer cash, so keep 50 CNY or so in your pocket. I'd skip the Garden Cafe on Day 3 and eat at the small noodle place just outside the botanical garden's west gate instead, cheaper and better.
the harbor view seafood rec is good but book a table if ur going on a weekend, we walked in saturday at noon & waited 40 min. also the promenade stretch between binjiang ave & the wharf is way nicer on foot than bus 5, only like 25 min & u pass the old fish market which is worth a peek. one thing the guide missed: the museum closes mondays but so does the art museum, so dont stack both on a monday like we almost did
