honestly this is a solid list, Mirror Lake is a good starting point. one thing i'd add is that the Wuhu Museum has this really cool section on the city's ironware history, not many people know Wuhu was a big iron smelting hub back in the day. also if you're up for a short hike, the little hill behind Zheshan Park gives you a nice view of the whole lake area without any crowds.

honestly the best cheap meal i found was at a place called xiao li's soup dumplings near the teachers college, 8 yuan for six and they're way better than the tourist spots. if you're around jinghu lake early morning, the locals do group dancing around 6am and it's free entertainment, just join in. one thing the guide missed is that the bus route 1 goes right past the yangtze river bridge viewing platform and costs 1 yuan, saves you the walk. the flea market on sundays is hit or miss but i found a cool old iron painting for 15 yuan, just haggle hard.

yeah the guide's pretty solid, one thing i'd add is that the Wuhu International Trade Market is good but go upstairs to the second floor, the ground floor stalls are mostly tourist junk while the upper level has actual local craftsmen selling iron paintings for way less, like 30-50 yuan for a small one instead of 100+ near Fantawild. also, if you're doing the bus thing, the route 37 bus goes from the train station straight to Zheshan Park for 1 yuan, saves you a transfer and the park's entrance is free on weekdays but they charge 5 yuan on weekends for some reason, just a heads up. the ganzi tip is spot on, the red awning stall is the one, been going there since i was a kid and they still use the same recipe
