solid list, the haizhou market tip is spot on. one thing i'd add is that the bus 1 from the train station will also get you close to the museum, but it drops you off on minzhu street, not jiefang street directly. it's about a 5 minute walk east from there, past a few fruit stalls that sell these giant pears in season, really juicy and cheap at like 3 yuan a kilo. also if you're doing the coal mine tour and have a bit of time after, the fuxin mining museum shop has old soviet era mining lamps and postcards, the lady at the counter is super nice and will haggle if you buy a few things together.
seconding the museum rec, the liao dynasty stuff is decent but honestly the coal mining section is where it's at for understanding the city. they have a full scale model of a mining tunnel with mannequins in period gear that's a bit creepy but informative. if you're into photography the renmin park lake is best around 5pm when the light hits the pagoda on the island just right, the tai chi groups usually haven't started yet so it's quiet. also heads up the bus 101 to yiwulu mountain only runs every 40 minutes on weekdays, check the schedule at the station or you'll be waiting a while

the museum tip about the coal tunnel is good but honestly the Fuxin Museum itself is worth more time than most people give it. they have this really unexpected collection of jade from the Hongshan culture that predates the mining stuff by thousands of years, it's in a small room off the main hall that's easy to miss. the lighting is terrible in there but the pieces are incredible
for the night market, if you're there after 8pm the lamb skewer guys start running out of the good cuts. i've had better luck going to the stall on the west end of Minzhu road, the one with the yellow lanterns, they marinate theirs in cumin and chili oil overnight and it makes a difference. they're the same price, 3 yuan each
solid plan, covers all the big stuff. one thing i'd add is that the hike up Haitang Mountain in the morning is prob busier than you'd expect, even on weekdays. if you go early, like 8:30 before the museum opens, you'll have the trails mostly to yourself and the view from the top is way better without crowds shuffling around you.
for the Zhangwu Grassland, the boardwalks are nice but the real trick is to walk past them to the east side where the grass is taller and there's a small stream. saw a bunch of herons there last time, way quieter than the main path. also that 30 yuan entry feels steep for what it is, but it's worth it if you bring binoculars.
one thing the guide missed is the coal history museum actually has a small underground tunnel you can walk through, costs an extra 10 yuan but it's cool to see the actual mine shafts. the temperature drops noticeably down there so bring a light jacket even in summer.
honestly the guide is pretty good but i'd swap day 1 around a bit. haitang mountain in the morning is nice but the museum is right there on jiefang street and it's way less crowded if you go right when it opens at 9. the hongshan jade room someone mentioned is tucked away behind the main exhibit hall, look for the door with the faded sign, it's not marked well but that's where the good stuff is
for the coal site tunnel thing, bring a flashlight if you have one. they have lights down there but they flicker sometimes and it's easy to trip on the uneven ground. i went in july and it was freezing, like 15 degrees cooler than outside, so a hoodie is smart even if it's hot out
the night market on minzhu road gets wild after 9pm, way more food carts show up then. the lamb offal soup stall someone mentioned is legit but there's also a guy who sells sugar roasted chestnuts from a cart near the west end, 10 yuan a bag and they're still warm. grab those for the walk back to your hotel
