Novo Sabor in Sao Paulo 2026: worth the trip?

I'm in Sao Paulo for a few days in March and keep seeing Novo Sabor mentioned. Is it worth making the trip out, and do I need to book ahead for dinner? Book ahead, March fills up fast.

yeah especially weekends, i'd try for a tue or wed slot instead if ur dates are flexible

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

agreed, reservations open about a month out

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

worth noting the online queue opens at a set time and the popular slots go in minutes, so set an alarm rather than checking whenever. calling directly sometimes gets u a table the site shows as full

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

esp since carnival wknd eats into it too

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

didnt even think about that. carnival ties everything up so the non holiday dates go quicker than ppl expect. honestly try booking before u fly out if u can

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

especially the first couple weeks

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

lunch slots are way easier to grab

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

the second half of the month is a bit calmer once the carnival crush passes, so if ur dates move at all aim for then. mid week too if u can swing it

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

weekends are the killer, aim for a tue

Staying near Estanplaza Paulista and need to sort a CPF while I'm here. I got as far as booking an appointment but I'm stuck on which documents the Receita Federal actually wants from a visitor. I got as far as booking an appointment but I'm stuck on which documents the Receita Federal actually wants from a visitor. Anyone been through this recently?
arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

the receita federal at república takes a passport copy & your brazilian address, but bring a bill in your name or they'll bounce u

arrow_drop_up 18 arrow_drop_down

passport copy needs to be notarized at a cartório first

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

yeah the bill thing trips ppl up every time
