Book the CPTM train ahead since it only runs a few times daily, and check the return schedule before you commit.

The bar is fine but the real draw is the fog and the old English railway village, so go for the village and treat the bar as part of it.

yeah thats fair, tho the fog thing is really a winter morning deal, not an all day thing. if u go on a random sunny afternoon its mostly just the old station and a couple of cafes. the train from Luz to Paranapiacaba is teh easy way without a car btw.

How reliable is the internet for video calls, and are there coworking spots or cafes where people actually settle in for a full workday? Also curious whether anyone overlaps with US or European hours, and how long remote workers tend to stay.

cafes along rua augusta are hit or miss for long stays, but coworkings like wework on paulista and a few smaller spots in vila madalena are solid. for US hours most ppl shift late afternoon to evening, europe is easier in the morning. stays tend to run 1 to 3 months.

wework on paulista is fine but book the quiet floor early, it fills up by 10 & the open area gets loud for calls
