agree on the pão de queijo but it's better fresh out of the oven around 7am, by mid morning they sit and go chewy. also cash only at the counter last i checked, card machine was down

cafes along rua augusta are hit or miss for long stays, but coworkings like wework on paulista and a few smaller spots in vila madalena are solid. for US hours most ppl shift late afternoon to evening, europe is easier in the morning. stays tend to run 1 to 3 months.

wework on paulista is fine but book the quiet floor early, it fills up by 10 & the open area gets loud for calls
