Staying near Centro for a week in March 2026 and heard about Bar Parnapiacaba. Is it worth the trek out there or should I stick to bars closer to where Im staying? Any idea what a round runs there? parnapiacaba is way out past the serra, so unless ur pairing it with a day trip to the vila it aint worth the trek just for drinks

Yeah, that's the thing, going all the way out there just to drink doesn't make sense. Pair it with the funicular and the vila or skip it. Not sure on prices but I'd guess a round runs more than in Centro.

i went through this last year, not in SP but the consulate part is the same. the temporary work visa (visto temporario) is tied to the employer & needs the mte autorizacao before u even book, that's where most people stall. get the apostilled docs started now, cartorio queues are brutal.
