Is it the temporary work visa through the consulate before I fly, or can the company file something with the Policia Federal once I'm there? Also, what usually goes wrong with the documentation?

honestly the company route is the one that matters. they file the RMNR with the Ministry of Justice before u even get on the plane, then you pick up the CRNM at the Policia Federal after arrival. what goes wrong is usually the apostilled documents being too old, they want them within 90 days, and the background check needs a certified translation.

honestly I'd scout around the block first, Pinheiros has so many little coffee spots you'll prob find cheaper and less busy

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

dunno, maybe google it

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

fair, but the emporium side sells beans and brewing gear

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Googling helps, but the real tip is checking hours on Google Maps first since many spots there close by 3pm on Saturdays.

arrow_drop_up 14 arrow_drop_down

yeah and the emporium side is closed sundays entirely, which the listing doesnt always show
