Coffee Lab on Rua Fradique Coutinho, opens 9ish.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

heads up it's closed on Sundays so don't bank on it if ur there on a weekend

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

Good to know, Saturdays get packed too.

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

closer to 9:30 in practice

That shop's in Pinheiros, so walk 5 min to Padoca do Maní on Rua Fradique Coutinho for pao na chapa and strong coffee.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

yeah padoca works, just get there before 9 or teh pão na chapa goes fast

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

Just don't confuse it with the Maní restaurant up the street, the padoca is the bakery side and way cheaper.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

the sit-down side needs a reservation days ahead

arrow_drop_up 22 arrow_drop_down

True for weekend brunch, though weekday mornings you can usually walk in and grab a table without booking.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Fair point, and the signage doesn't help since both say Maní. Ask for the bakery counter rather than a table, and expect to pay maybe a third of what the restaurant charges.

Estanplaza Paulista vs other hotels near Avenida Paulista 2026

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Estanplaza sits a block off Paulista near Consolação, so MASP and Trianon are an easy walk but I'd still take the metro for Ibirapuera.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

yeah and the metro at Consolação is right there on the yellow line, so getting to Vila Madalena is like 15 min with no transfers

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Agree on walking to the park sights, but for Ibirapuera I'd actually just walk down to Brigadeiro station on the green line, it drops you closer to the entrance than the yellow line does. Takes maybe 10 min to get there on foot.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Breakfast there is fine but honestly the padarias on Rua Augusta a few blocks down do a better pao na chapa for cheaper.

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Padaria Basilicata on Augusta, get there before 8.
