Any good bars within walking distance for a relaxed evening drink? I'd rather avoid the big tourist spots and find somewhere the locals actually go.

I don't live there but I've heard Bar Astor in Pinheiros is a solid low-key spot for a drink, worth checking.

yeah astor's solid but it's a bit of a hike from CSa, more of a pinheiros thing. if ur staying right by the station maybe check the little botecos around vila olimpia instead, way closer & more local

botecos on rua domingos fernandes, after 9

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

After 9 works but go Thursday, weekends the calçada gets slammed and service slows way down.

Astor's worth the trip but honestly the boteco strip on Rua Joaquim Távora in Vila Mariana is closer to CSa and way more local.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Casa do Norte, corner of Joaquim Távora, cash only.

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

the little kiosks by the metro exit, cheap chopp

arrow_drop_up -1 arrow_drop_down

fair but it's pricey and packed on weekends, the side streets off oscar freire have cheaper calçada seating

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

Bar do Juarez on Rua Augusta, go before 8

arrow_drop_up 1 arrow_drop_down

solid pick but go early evening, it fills up fast

Novo Sabor in Sao Paulo, worth the trip?

heard the moqueca is the sleeper hit there, not the feijoada everyone mentions. book ahead if ur going on a weekend, it fills up fast. i'd skip the hype around the touristy hours & aim for a slower weekday lunch

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Go at lunch, dinner is a zoo.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Lunch around 12:30, before the rush.

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

yeah, 12:30 or you're queuing on the sidewalk

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

the feijoada, go early
