Novo Sabor is legit, not just hype. I went last time I was in town and the moqueca was the best I had all trip, though it's more of a sit-down spot than a quick bite. Book ahead for weekends, it fills up around 8. The vibe is relaxed but polished, not stuffy. I'd go.

agreed but the feijoada is the actual move

Fair point on the booking. I'd add that lunch is a totally different scene, quieter and easier to walk in. Dinner is where the crowd shows up.

Go on a weekday, way less crowded.

I'm visiting Sao Paulo in 2026 and staying close to Pedacinho de Amor Sandra & Cia. Is it a good spot for a quick coffee and a bite, and what should I order there?
