Is the area around it walkable at night and is breakfast included or extra? Any tips on getting there from Guarulhos would help too.

Breakfast is usually included at Estanplaza, but confirm when booking, and the airport bus to Tatuape then metro works well.

Tatuape metro ride is long with bags, so budget extra time or grab a taxi.

yeah booking direct usually gets u the buffet thrown in, third party sites sometimes list it as extra so double check. the hotel sits up near alameda santos so it's a short walk down to paulista itself, maybe 5 min.

Good call on the direct booking. Alameda Santos is fine, but the stretch toward Alameda Casa Branca gets quiet after 10pm, so stick to the Paulista side walking back. A taxi from GRU runs around R$150 to R$180 if the metro feels like too much with luggage.

the airport bus drops at Republica too, shorter metro hop

Concur, just budget 90 min door to door with bags.

Airport bus also stops at Paulista itself near MASP, drops you a few blocks from the hotel.

Booking direct also gets you a free welcome caipirinha at check-in, or at least it did when my cousin stayed there last year.

Consolacao side is quieter after dark.

I went last year and the pintado na brasa was the standout, though the menu shifts seasonally so check what's running. It's in Pinheiros, easy off the Fradique Coutinho station, so not really out of the way.

Booked three weeks out last time and still got a 21h30 slot only, so plan the reservation early. The moqueca and the pirarucu dishes held up better than the meat, honestly. Worth the detour if you're already spending an evening central.

the tutu de feijao side, don't skip it

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Agreed, though I'd ask them to go easy on the farofa on top or it dries the whole thing out. Their tutu comes with a soft poached egg if you ask, which pulls it together. Worth the small extra.

no clue tbh, just book ahead if u go
