iffof is more of a lunch spot tbh, go around 12:30 before the line builds on Rua Augusta. the bife ancho with chimichurri is the move & the provoleta to start. dinner books out a week ahead so reserve if u want evenings
their milanesa de ternera with puré is honestly better than the bife ancho, and ask for the salsa criolla on the side
provoleta sells out by 1 most weekdays so get there closer to noon if thats a priority
yeah 12:30 is right, after 1 the wait hits 40 min easy. ask for the morcilla too, it's not on the printed menu but they usually have it. dinner you can sometimes walk in solo at the counter fwiw.
Agree on lunch, but weekends they do a slower brunch service till 3 where the line barely forms.
ask for the entraña if they have it, cheaper cut & honestly better char than the ancho
the flan con dulce de leche, easy to skip
nah i'd keep it, just ask for it warm & pair with a cortado, the cold version they default to is what's forgettable

It's on Rua Augusta in Consolacao, and weekday lunch is way easier to walk into than dinner.
Good call on lunch, dinner there gets packed. I'd still ring ahead even for midday tho, last time I tried walking in around 1pm they were full.
