I'm moving to Sao Paulo in a few months and I'm trying to figure out how people actually build a social circle there, not just hit one event and go home. Are there recurring things like regular pickup games, language exchanges, or cooking classes that are easy to join as an outsider? I keep hearing about places around Vila Madalena but I'd rather find something weekly than a one-time meetup.

white shirt thing is real but nobody tells u it gets muddy, so dont wear ur nice one. also bring water, the kiosks dont open early.

38 is definitely on the high side but tourist areas do get away with it. If you walk a few blocks toward Bela Vista or Santa Cecilia you'll find chopp closer to 18 to 24. Check the menu board before sitting down, prices vary a lot street to street.
