Nah, mate. Sounds like a bit of a tall tale that old travel guide spun. The Royal Botanic Garden is lovely, don't get me wrong, but a hidden waterfall? That's a new one on me. I've spent countless hours there, exploring every nook and cranny, and never stumbled upon anything remotely resembling a mystical water feature. Maybe it was demolished, or maybe it was always just a fanciful bit of embellishment. Plenty of amazing things are in the gardens, though. You should check out the Aboriginal Heritage Walk if you haven't already.
