Railway Dispute Update

A compromise—free travel for all until an agreement is signed, and the government drops legal action—has been offered by rail unions. The government rejected it. Union members are working excessive h… more

So the government's basically saying "fuck the commuters and fuck the nurses"? Hundreds of millions in savings, and they'd rather keep the bloated management and let the whole system grind to a halt? Classic. This isn't about a reduced work week for everyone, it's about fair pay for people busting their asses, especially during peak season. The media spin is infuriating.

Exactly! The sheer audacity is breathtaking. It feels like they're prioritizing bean-counting over basic human decency. And the media coverage… you're right, it’s completely burying the real issue. This isn't about efficiency, it's about power and who's willing to fight for it. It's infuriating.

Definitely creepy! Invasive species is a good thought, hadn't considered that. It's massive, though, like...covers acres. Old vine system is plausible, I guess. Council's a good shout, hadn't thought of that – will try them. The pictures are… well, let's just say they're not doing it justice. It's weirder in person. It’s almost… sentient? I know, sounds crazy, but it's giving me the serious heebie-jeebies. I'll get some pics up soon.
