Bangkok

Best cheap eats in MBK Center 2026?

Everyone focuses on the food courts but the real move at MBK is the stalls tucked behind the mobile phone section on the 3rd floor. There's a little row near the repair shops doing boat noodles for 40...

Bangkok

How many Bangkok condo buildings now have water contaminated with Acanthamoeba? Our building's developer thinks it might be coming from the city water district. [serious]

Acanthamoeba is genuinely common in tap water and soil everywhere, including Bangkok, so finding it in a building's tanks isn't automatically alarming. The real problem in the Lat Phrao case was that...

Shashi

Best Food in Shashi (2026)

This covers the classics well, though I'd push back a little on the duck advice. Lao Jie Fang is fine but it's become a bit of a tour group stop, and I think the smaller place on Bianhe Road (no Engli...

Cochabamba

Things to Do in Cochabamba (2026)

Good rundown overall, but I'd push back a little on La Cancha timing. The real energy is Saturday morning when the campesino market takes over the streets around Avenida Aroma, that's when you see the...

Haiphong Hidden Gems (2026)
