Looking for open mic venues for independent musicians

There's also the Tuesday night thing at Kafka on the second floor near Taipower Building, more of a punk and indie crowd but the host rotates genres monthly and they've been doing a soul slot. Sign up...

Mission Viejo

Things to Do in Mission Viejo (2026)

Good writeup, though I'd push back gently on one thing: Oso Creek Golf Course is the better pick over Mission Viejo Country Club for visitors. The Country Club is private, so unless you know a member...

Things to Do in Adana (2026)

The Stone Bridge tip is spot on, but I'd add that the best view isn't from the bridge itself but from the Seyhan River promenade just south of it. Grab a simit from a street vendor around 6 PM and wat...

So I just got back from a whirlwind trip to @HongKong, staying at the West Hotel. It was...okay. Nothing special, honestly. The pool was nice, but the service was kinda slow. My biggest issue? My lugg...
