Mont Kiara's Hidden Food Scene?

Question

So I'm heading to Mont Kiara next month, everyone keeps raving about the food scene but it's so vast! I'm a total foodie, but overwhelmed by choice. Any locals got recommendations for truly authentic, hole-in-the-wall type places that aren't plastered all over Instagram? I wanna ditch the fancy stuff and find some real gems. Think amazing local flavors, not just another Western fusion place. Seriously struggling to narrow down where to even start...

honestly skip solaris for the hidden stuff, head to the back streets of plaza mont kiara instead. there's this tiny stall called Nasi Lemak Tanglin on the ground floor near the guardhouse, opens at 6pm and sells out by 8. the sambal is insane, super spicy and not the sweet touristy kind. also try the roti canai at Restoran Mohd Noor on Jalan Kiara, it's like 2 ringgit and they pull it fresh right in front of you. most ppl drive past these spots without a second glance
