**🗺️ Day 1: Old City Core** Start your morning at the Citadel of Aleppo (open 9 AM to 5 PM, entry 500 SYP). Spend two hours exploring the fortress and its museum, then walk to the Great Mosque of Aleppo (10-minute walk). After lunch at Beit Sissi restaurant (around 200 SYP for a meal), visit the covered souks of Al-Madina, which are best explored in the afternoon when the light filters through the vaulted ceilings. **🏛️ Day 1: Museums and Hamams** In the late afternoon, head to the National Museum of Aleppo (closes at 6 PM, entry 300 SYP) to see artifacts from Ebla and Mari. For the evening, book a session at Hammam al-Nahhasin (open until 10 PM, 400 SYP for a basic bath). End the day with dinner at Al-Kindi restaurant, a 15-minute walk from the hammam, where you can try traditional kibbeh. **🚶 Day 2: Christian Quarter** Begin day two in the Christian Quarter (Jdeydeh) with a visit to the Forty Martyrs Cathedral (open 8 AM to noon). Stroll through the narrow alleys lined with restored Ottoman houses, many now serving as boutique hotels. Stop for coffee at Beit Wakil (around 100 SYP) before continuing to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Church, a 10-minute walk away. **🛍️ Day 2: Souk and Crafts** After lunch at Sissi House (set menu 300 SYP), explore the artisan workshops in the Souk al-Harir (Silk Souk). Watch soap makers and copper engravers at work, and buy Aleppo laurel soap (starting at 50 SYP per bar). In the evening, attend a performance at the Al-Assad Cultural Center (tickets from 200 SYP), a 20-minute taxi ride from the souk. **🌳 Day 3: Parks and Views** On your final day, take a taxi (around 150 SYP) to the Aleppo Public Park (open 7 AM to sunset) for a relaxing morning stroll. From there, walk 15 minutes to the Mount Simeon viewpoint for panoramic city views. Visit the nearby St. Simeon Stylites Church ruins (entry 200 SYP), a 30-minute drive from the park, and return to the city center for lunch. **🍽️ Day 3: Culinary Farewell** Spend your last afternoon in the Al-Jdaydeh district, taking a cooking class at Beit al-Mamlouk (book ahead, 600 SYP per person). Learn to make stuffed vine leaves and baklava. For a final dinner, reserve a table at the rooftop restaurant of the Baron Hotel (mains around 400 SYP), which offers a historic ambiance and views of the old city. **🚕 Getting Around** Taxis within the city center cost 100-200 SYP per ride; negotiate the fare before starting. The old city is walkable, but for longer distances, shared microbuses run along main routes for 25 SYP per trip. Avoid driving yourself as parking is scarce. Plan for 15-20 minutes between neighborhoods by taxi, and 30-40 minutes to reach Mount Simeon. **💡 Practical Tips** Carry cash in Syrian pounds as credit cards are rarely accepted. Most attractions are open Saturday to Thursday, with Friday closures for prayer. Dress modestly when visiting mosques and churches. The best time to visit is spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November) when temperatures are mild.
