**🗺️ Day 1 Overview** Start your trip in the historic center, where most landmarks are within walking distance. Begin at Plaza Mayor, then wander to the Cathedral and the old town walls. Plan for about 4 hours of sightseeing before lunch. **🍽️ Lunch in the Old Town** For a traditional meal, head to Mesón La Plaza, located at Plaza Mayor 3, where the menú del día costs 12 euros and includes a starter, main, and dessert. Alternatively, try Taberna El Arco at Calle del Arco 5 for local tapas. Both are busy by 1:30 PM, so arrive early or book ahead. **🏛️ Afternoon Museums** Spend the afternoon at the Municipal Museum, open from 10 AM to 6 PM, with an entrance fee of 5 euros. It houses Roman artifacts and local art. If you prefer modern art, visit the Contemporary Art Center, just a 10-minute walk away, which is free on Wednesdays. **🌆 Evening Stroll and Dinner** As the sun sets, walk along the river promenade, which is especially lively in summer. For dinner, reserve a table at Restaurante Mirador, offering panoramic views from Calle del Castillo 12. Expect to pay around 25 euros per person for a three-course meal. **🚌 Day 2 Transport** On day two, take bus line 7 from the city center to the northern neighborhoods; the ride takes about 20 minutes and costs 1.50 euros. Alternatively, rent a bike from the municipal station at Plaza de la Estación for 10 euros per day. This saves time and lets you explore at your own pace. **🏞️ Northern Neighborhoods** Start at the Park of the Roses, a large green space ideal for a morning walk. Then visit the local market, Mercado del Norte, open from 9 AM to 2 PM, where you can sample fresh produce and cheese. The area is less touristy, offering a glimpse of daily life. **🍕 Casual Lunch and Cafes** For a quick bite, try Pizzeria Da Luigi on Avenida del Parque, where a slice costs 3 euros. Afterward, stop at Café Central at Calle Mayor 8 for a coffee and pastry; it's a favorite among locals. This break will recharge you for the afternoon. **🌙 Day 3 Highlights** On your final day, visit the Castle of Nada, which opens at 10 AM and offers guided tours every hour for 8 euros. The view from the tower is worth the climb. Afterward, explore the artisan quarter, where you can buy handmade souvenirs. End your trip with a sunset at the viewpoint near the castle.
