**🍽️ Where to Start** Begin your culinary tour in the historic Automobile Alley, where you'll find a mix of upscale eateries and casual cafes. For a classic Oklahoma City experience, stop by Cattlemen's Steakhouse at 1309 S Agnew Ave, open since 1910, and try their famous T-bone steak for around $35. If you prefer something lighter, head to The Jones Assembly at 901 W Sheridan Ave for wood-fired pizzas and craft cocktails in a lively setting. **🌮 Street Food Scene** Food trucks are a big deal here, especially around the Midtown and Plaza District areas. Check out the Riviere Modern Banh Mi truck for Vietnamese-inspired sandwiches, or the Waffle Champion truck for sweet and savory waffles. Prices range from $8 to $12 per item, and you'll often find trucks parked near Scissortail Park on weekends. **🍖 BBQ Must-Tries** Oklahoma City takes its barbecue seriously, and two spots stand out. Leo's BBQ at 3637 N Kelley Ave serves up smoked brisket and ribs with a tangy sauce, with plates around $15. For a more modern twist, try Iron Star Urban BBQ at 3705 N Shartel Ave, where the burnt ends and jalapeno cheddar sausage are local favorites. **🥟 Hidden Neighborhood Gems** Venture into the Asian District on Classen Boulevard for authentic Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Pho Cuong at 2908 N Classen Blvd offers a hearty bowl of pho for under $10, while Golden Phoenix at 2928 N Classen Blvd serves dim sum on weekends. These spots are cash-friendly and often busy, so go early for lunch. **🍰 Sweet Treats** For dessert, visit Pie Junkie at 323 Paseo Dr, known for its rotating selection of handmade pies, with slices around $6. If you're in the Plaza District, stop by The Cakery at 1620 N Blackwelder Ave for custom cupcakes and cookies. Both are perfect for a mid-afternoon sugar fix. **🍺 Breweries and Bars** Pair your meal with local craft beer at Prairie Artisan Ales at 1217 N Broadway Ave, where you can sample their farmhouse ales in a spacious taproom. For a rooftop view, head to The Collective at 208 NW 5th St, a food hall with multiple vendors and a bar, open until 10 PM on weekdays. Drinks range from $5 to $9. **💵 Budget Bites** You don't need to spend a lot to eat well in OKC. Try Nic's Grill at 1201 N Pennsylvania Ave for one of the best burgers in town, priced around $8, but be prepared to wait in line. For a cheap and filling meal, grab a breakfast burrito at The Press at 2 W California Ave for just $6. **🌆 Evening Dining Spots** As the sun sets, head to the Boathouse District for dinner at The Boathouse Restaurant at 725 S Lincoln Blvd, offering American fare with a view of the Oklahoma River. For a more upscale experience, make a reservation at Vast at 333 W Sheridan Ave, located on the 49th floor of the Devon Tower, where entrees start at $40 and the panoramic city views are unforgettable.
