**🗺️ Day 1 Overview** Start your trip in the city center around Samsandong, the main commercial district. Visit the Ulsan Grand Park (open 5:00-22:00, free entry) in the morning, then head to the Ulsan Museum (9:00-18:00, free) to learn about the city's industrial history. In the afternoon, explore the Taehwa River Grand Park, a scenic riverside area perfect for a leisurely stroll. **🏭 Day 2: Industrial Tour** Dedicate the second day to Ulsan's industrial heritage. Start at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard tour (book in advance, 10:00 and 14:00, 10,000 KRW). Afterward, visit the Ulsan Industrial Tower Observatory (9:00-18:00, free) for panoramic views. End the day at the Jangsaengpo Whale Museum (9:00-18:00, 2,000 KRW) to see the city's whaling past. **🌊 Day 3: Coastal Exploration** Spend your final day along the coast. Begin at Daewangam Park (open 24 hours, free), a dramatic rocky shoreline with a lighthouse. Then head to Ilsan Beach (free, lifeguards in summer) for a relaxing break. In the afternoon, visit the Ganjeolgot Cape (sunrise point, free) and the nearby Ulsan Whale Observatory (9:00-18:00, free). **🚌 Getting Around** Ulsan's public bus system is efficient and cheap, with single rides costing 1,200 KRW (T-money card). Taxis start at 3,800 KRW. For the industrial tour, consider a taxi from the city center (about 15 minutes, 10,000 KRW). The coastal areas are best reached by bus from the intercity bus terminal (routes 401, 402, 500). **🍜 Where to Eat** For lunch, try the Samsandong Food Alley for Korean classics like bibimbap and bulgogi (meals from 8,000 KRW). In the evening, head to the Ulsan Mugeo-dong Raw Fish Market for fresh hoe (sliced raw fish, set meals from 20,000 KRW). For a quick bite, the Hyundai Department Store food court offers diverse options from 10,000 KRW. **🏨 Where to Stay** Stay in Samsandong for easy access to shops and restaurants. Lotte Hotel Ulsan (from 120,000 KRW/night) offers luxury, while the Ulsan Business Hotel (from 60,000 KRW/night) is a budget-friendly option. For a seaside vibe, consider the Ulsan Ramada Hotel near Ilsan Beach (from 100,000 KRW/night). **💡 Local Tips** Ulsan is less touristy than Seoul or Busan, so English signage is limited. Download a translation app and carry cash for small vendors. The city's subway line is limited; buses are more practical. Check the weather before visiting coastal parks, as they can be windy. Most attractions close by 18:00, so plan your evenings for dining or shopping.
