Stuttgart nightlife advice?

Question

Headed to Stuttgart in about 4 months and wanna know where the good bars/clubs are. Any must-hits for a fun night out?

christellajunge · Answer

honestly if you're into more alternative or indie stuff, check out Keller Klub or Lehmann, they're both small but have a good crowd. also the area around Feuersee has some chill bars that aren't as touristy, just walk around and see what looks fun

If you're up for something a bit more laid-back but still lively, the area around the Kriegsberg is where locals go after work. Try the Oblomow bar for a weirdly cozy vibe with mismatched furniture and decent cocktails, it's not a club but you'll end up chatting to strangers til 2am. Or if you want a proper dive, head to the Biergarten im Schlossgarten near the Hauptbahnhof, it's huge and stays open late in summer, just grab a Maß and find a bench.

For a proper night out, you should check out the area around the Hans-im-Glück-Brunnen. The Palast der Republik is a solid club if you're into electronic music, but get there before midnight or you'll be queuing for ages. If you want something less intense, head to the Karlshöhe on a warm evening - it's a hill with a beer garden vibe where people hang out until late. The U-Bahn runs all night on weekends, so don't stress about getting home.
