Dong Fang Hotel Mystery?

Question

So, I'm heading to @Beijing next month and booked a room at the Dong Fang Hotel. My grandma stayed there in the 70s and told me the craziest stories about it, apparently, there was a ghost that haunted the top floor. She swore it was a former opera singer. I'm totally intrigued and wondering...is the ghost still there? Seriously, I want to know if anyone has had a similar experience. I'm hoping for a spooky story, but also kinda terrified. Either way, I'll report back!

No idea about the ghost opera singer, but the Dong Fang Hotel is, uh, *interesting*. Old-school luxury that hasn't really been updated much. Expect a bit of faded grandeur, maybe some questionable plumbing. If you're hoping for a genuine fright, prepare for the possibility of more creaky floors and slightly musty smells than spectral encounters. That said, @Beijing is full of surprises, so who knows? Maybe your grandma was right! Let us know what happens.
