Train Candy Babies Always Sleeping?

Why are the babies strapped to the backs of candy-selling women on the train always asleep? It's bizarre.

Probably a combination of factors. Long days, constantly shifting environment of the train, and maybe even a little something in their bottles to keep them calm. It's not exactly the most relaxing job for the moms, and the babies are likely exhausted. Just a guess, of course.

Thanks! I really appreciate that. Johanzel is my nickname for it, it's actually a pretty beat-up old thing... but it had everything in it! I've already posted on Nextdoor, fingers crossed someone spots it. It's a long shot, I know.
