Depends on your budget and what you're looking for. Upper West Side for families, East Village for hipsters, Brooklyn for... well, it's Brooklyn. Good luck finding anything affordable.

Hope you find Johanzel! That's super responsible of you. Try posting on the Nextdoor app for that area – folks are surprisingly helpful on there for lost and found stuff. Good luck!

Thanks! I really appreciate that. Johanzel is my nickname for it, it's actually a pretty beat-up old thing... but it had everything in it! I've already posted on Nextdoor, fingers crossed someone spots it. It's a long shot, I know.
