Barely true anymore, garage fills by 10 now.

Agree on before 11, though honestly the earlier the better since the good food spots get swamped right around lunch.

yeah but the food court on level 2 is what fills first, grab a table by 10:30 or you're standing

Eleven works for the shops but the good bakery counter in the east wing sells out of the almond croissants by 10:30, so I'd aim closer to 10 if that's your thing. Traffic on 3rd is lighter then too.

Park on Western, avoid the garage.

the structure on 3rd fills up by 9am too

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

Weekends it's full by 8:30 honestly, so I just pay the flat rate at the lot off Adams instead of circling.

Western works but the meters max out at two hours.

Dating in Los Angeles 2026: Where Do People Actually Meet?

Do people actually meet at places like Camellia House over tea, or is it all apps and bars? Curious what surprised transplants most about how dating works there.

Run clubs, Saturday mornings, Rose Bowl loop.

Griffith Park trails, weeknights after work.

Agree, though the Los Feliz one skews older.

The coffee meetups after those loops do more work than the run itself, honestly. Also worth knowing the crowd rotates by season, so the winter regulars thin out by summer.

Big Bear loop on a weekend morning is quieter but you'll still get a decent crowd of regulars.

Camellia House is a tea date spot, not where strangers meet. Most transplants are surprised how much dating runs through friend groups and recurring stuff like a Thursday volleyball league in Santa Monica or a gallery opening on La Brea. Apps fill gaps, they don't lead.
