Traveling with my husband, a newborn, a dog (in a carrier), a stroller, a car seat, 6 pieces of checked luggage, and two carry on bags...

Looking for an SUV car service that will meet us at baggage claim.

Appreciate any recommendations! ?

EDIT: Looking for an SUV car service that will meet us INSIDE baggage claim to help with our luggage.

With that load you're better off booking with a company that has a dedicated dispatcher at LAX rather than one that just sends a driver who might get lost in the terminal. I've used On Time Executive Sedan a few times for similar situations and they'll meet you right at the bottom of the escalator by baggage claim with a sign and help you wheel everything out. Their SUV fleet is mostly Yukon XLs which have enough room for all your bags plus the car seat and stroller in the back. Just make sure you text them your flight number and baggage claim number when you land so they can time it right.

honestly with that much stuff plus a dog and newborn, you're gonna want someone who actually comes inside and helps you schlep everything to the car. most of the big black car companies at LAX will meet you at the curb on the arrivals level but not inside baggage claim. try City Express or LAX Car Service, they're local and will come right to the baggage carousel with a sign. prob around $150-200 for an SUV from LAX to downtown or Santa Monica, but worth it when you're juggling a carrier and a stroller and six bags. just call them directly and confirm they do "meet and greet inside baggage claim" not just curb side.

You might want to check with Music Express. They're one of the older LA car services and they're used to chaos like this. Their drivers will come find you at the carousel with a cart if you ask, and they have those big Suburbans that can actually fit a car seat and a dog crate in the same row. I've seen them handle worse loads than yours during film shoots at LAX. Just give them a heads up about the dog and they'll send a driver who's comfortable with animals.

These vendors typically operate from portable carts or vehicles at public gatherings. Does anyone have information on how to contact such vendors or recommendations for reliable services?

honestly the SGV has a ton of licensed cart operators who mostly do private stuff now. look up "hot dog cart catering San Gabriel Valley" on Yelp and you'll get a handful that are fully permitted, which matters if your venue needs a health permit on file. expect around $400 to $700 for a few hours plus a per person minimum, usually 50 or so. the ones based in Alhambra and Rosemead tend to be cheaper than Pasadena because they're not paying that rent.

fwiw the county health dept keeps a public list of permitted mobile food operators, its searchable by city on the LA County Public Health site. filter for "pushcart" or "MFF" and you'll get vendors cleared for SGV zip codes, which saves you the headache of a venue asking for paperwork later. also worth checking with the Old Town Monrovia or Alhambra farmers market folks, the carts there are usually booked solid but they know who's free and they'll pass along names. just dont wait till the last week, good ones book out 2 to 3 weeks in teh summer.

You could try hitting up the folks who set up outside Home Depot or the DMV in El Monte on weekends, a lot of those carts are owner operated and they'll do private gigs if you ask. Just walk up and grab a card, they usually have one taped to the cart.
