Should move out of the way as you take up the entire sidewalk with your dog 3. Think that it's appropriate to bring your dog with you everywhere you go (restaurants, nail shops, the grocery store, places that are supposed to be kept sanitary) I was just cussed out by and called the N word by a man walking this huge white dog because I didn't wait until he got on the sidewalk before I drove on even though he was well out of the way. I feel like I can't even go for a walk in my neighborhood without almost stepping on poop or someone letting their dog run up to me assuming I want that and not considering I may not care to interact with it. It's exhausting!!!!! Am I the only who feels like this?

tbh the entitlement is real but it's also a city planning thing. LA just wasn't built for this many big dogs in tight neighborhoods, so people get territorial. the poop thing though, that's on everyone. i've seen owners just walk away while their dog squats on someone's lawn in ktown like it's nothing. i get that you're frustrated, but honestly the guy who cursed you out is prob just an asshole who happens to own a dog, not a dog owner problem per se. if u want a chill walk, hit up the stairs at the end of sunset

nah you're not the only one, it's gotten out of hand. i live near silver lake and the amount of people who treat the reservoir path like a dog park is insane, off-leash dogs everywhere even though signs say leashes required. i've had a lab jump on me while i was eating a taco on a bench, owner just laughed like it was cute. that's not even touching the fake service dog thing, every other "emotional support" pup in a grocery cart smells like bs. sorry you got cussed out like that, that's straight trash behavior, no excuse for it. if you wanna walk without the circus, try the arroyo secano trail early morning, fewer people and way more dog etiquette out there.

How can I find mobile hot dog vendors for a private event?

These vendors typically operate from portable carts or vehicles at public gatherings. Does anyone have information on how to contact such vendors or recommendations for reliable services?

honestly the SGV has a ton of licensed cart operators who mostly do private stuff now. look up "hot dog cart catering San Gabriel Valley" on Yelp and you'll get a handful that are fully permitted, which matters if your venue needs a health permit on file. expect around $400 to $700 for a few hours plus a per person minimum, usually 50 or so. the ones based in Alhambra and Rosemead tend to be cheaper than Pasadena because they're not paying that rent.

fwiw the county health dept keeps a public list of permitted mobile food operators, its searchable by city on the LA County Public Health site. filter for "pushcart" or "MFF" and you'll get vendors cleared for SGV zip codes, which saves you the headache of a venue asking for paperwork later. also worth checking with the Old Town Monrovia or Alhambra farmers market folks, the carts there are usually booked solid but they know who's free and they'll pass along names. just dont wait till the last week, good ones book out 2 to 3 weeks in teh summer.

You could try hitting up the folks who set up outside Home Depot or the DMV in El Monte on weekends, a lot of those carts are owner operated and they'll do private gigs if you ask. Just walk up and grab a card, they usually have one taped to the cart.
