If you walk along the Concord River from the Bicentennial Square area, there's a spot near the old mill buildings where the water drops over a small dam. It's not dramatic but the contrast between the brick and the moving water works well for long exposure shots. Just past that, the bridges on Storrs Street have good angles looking north toward the city skyline. I'd skip the main street crowds and spend time around there instead.

The old New Hampshire State House on Main Street is a solid starting point, especially when the light hits the golden dome in the late afternoon. For something unexpected, walk down to the Contoocook River behind the White Park pond, there's a footbridge that gives you a nice reflection shot with the trees framing it. If you have a car, the Rollins Park stone bridge on South Fruit Street is usually quiet and looks great with fall colors or snow.

honestly the best spot nobody talks about is the back side of the Blossom Hill Cemetery in late afternoon. sounds weird but the old stone walls and the way the light filters through the trees is unreal. walk up past the main gates and follow the dirt path to the left.

for something more city vibes, the parking garage on North State Street gives you a killer rooftop view of the church spires and the whole downtown. just go to the top level around sunset. no one bothers you there.

if you want a more industrial feel, head down to the train tracks near the old Eagle Square building. the brick and the rusted rail stuff makes for good contrast shots. just be careful of trains obviously
