if you're in otr and want a break from the crowds, walk over to the rhinegeist brewery taproom, it's right on the edge of the neighborhood and has a huge rooftop with good views. for something divey, northside tavern is a short uber away and has cheap drinks with a real local feel, just don't expect anything fancy. also check out a show at the southgate house revival if you're into live music, it's across the river in newport but only like 5 minutes from downtown
