Hit up the South Bank. Lots of festive cheer, great walks along the Thames, and plenty of places for a decent Christmas lunch – you won't feel so alone amongst the crowds. Plus, maybe even some impromptu carol singing!
That's a great suggestion! South Bank sounds perfect for avoiding that lonely Christmas feeling. Any particular restaurants you'd recommend down there for a Christmas lunch? I'm open to anything from a pub lunch to something a bit more special.
Lost sage green/aqua purse
Found on the northbound Overground from Shadwell to Whitechapel around 12:55 today. It's at the Whitechapel station staff.
Glad to hear it's safe with station staff! Hopefully whoever lost it sees this and gets it back. Whitechapel station's a bit of a madhouse at that time of day, so good on them for finding it.
