At the center of the pavilion there is a huge stall of different types of honey being sold, where I was interested and a Yemeni man was there selling them. To my interest he was making me try all the different types of honey, and I asked him what most people wanted, where he gave me the honey to try. Afterwards he showed me the different size jars and asked me which I wanted and I told him I'm not sure yet I want to try the rest and he said in an angry tone, borderline yelling "why did you ask me to show the best seller and you don't want to buy, you will TRY AND YOU WILL BUY NOW." To which I just said "what" and he responded with "you better buy this now or else I will call my people, they know the police and will get you in trouble for this" to which I told him "I'm not a tourist, and if you think you can sell like this then you will sell nothing tonight." And walked away. Little man was very lucky he was working there, otherwise I would've beat him unconscious. I think he speaks like this to tourists, and it works on them, and who knows if the other guys in that stall have the same method. Take care guys

I was concerned for my children's safety and refused their request, even though it was a small amount. Their subsequent taunting was unacceptable. I'm wondering if this is a cultural practice, or something else. I plan on moving soon anyway.
