Anyone here tried lavish perfumes?
tbh i grabbed a 50ml bottle of their Oud Mood last month just to keep in the car, and it's fine for that but nothing more. the weird part is it smells totally different after a week once the top notes die off, so what you test in the shop isn't what you get later. if you want cheap and actually reliable just get the 6-pack of Al Rehab roll-ons from any hypermarket, costs less and lasts way longer.
Lavish is one of those brands you'll find stacked near the checkout at Day to Day or the smaller perfumeries in Meena Bazaar, and honestly it performs about how you'd expect for the price. The opening is decent enough but it fades fast, and in a Dubai summer you're looking at maybe an hour or two before it's basically a skin scent. If you're set on budget stuff, I'd point you toward the 50ml oils at Nabeel or the Al Haramain roll-ons, those actually stick around for 4 to 5 hours and cost roughly the same. For 50 dirhams you can do worse, but you can also do a lot better with a bit of digging.
ngl for 50aed you're basically paying for alcohol and a synthetic musk. they last maybe 2-3 hours tops in this heat, less if you're outdoors. i'd rather save up for something from Ajmal or Rasasi, their cheaper line starts around 80-100aed and actually holds up past lunch.

damn u basically did a free taxi run to rak. thing is they usually target cars with a single guy driving & look for dubai plates so u look like u got somewhere to be. best move is roll ur window down like two inches, say u already called the cops for them & keep moving, dont even unlock the door
yeah that's a known one on e311 & the sharjah ring road, usually they wave you down near the adnoc or before the rta cameras claiming wallet got lifted. classic play is they ask for a lift to the next emirate then bail once you slow down, sometimes a second guy on a bike is tracking you. next time just call 999 or drop them at the nearest police point, don't let anyone in your car off the highway ngl
The RAK route is the tell. No one genuinely stranded on the ring road needs to get all the way to Ras Al Khaimah, that's a 90 minute drive. These guys work in pairs and the second car picks them up after they hop out, usually somewhere past the Al Sajaa junction or near the ADNOC on E311. If it happens again, tell them you'll drive them to the nearest police station and watch how fast the story changes.
