Where to look for instant Karak tea?

I'm currently living in Discovery Gardens, Dubai. And I'm going back to the Philippines this Thursday. Any ideas where I can buy an instant Karak tea near my place so I can bring it to the Philippines… I'm currently living in Discovery Gardens, Dubai. I've had good luck finding instant Karak tea at the smaller shops on Sheikh Zayed Road, particularly the ones near the Metro stations, they tend to carry a variety of brands and flavors, it's about a 20 minute drive from Discovery Gardens, depending on traffic. The tea is usually priced around 10 to 15 dirhams per pack, which is relatively cheap. If I were you I'd check the shops near the Jebel Ali Metro station, they might have some good options for instant Karak tea.

You'll probably have better luck at a Filipino grocery store than a regular supermarket. There's one on Al Furjan near the Ibn Battuta area, about 10 minutes from Discovery Gardens, and they usually stock the Karak tea sachets from brands like Al Rawabi or Al Ain. The Carrefour in Ibn Battuta Mall might have them too, but check the tea aisle near the gahwa and spice section, not the regular tea bags.

honestly the best place for instant karak is the Lulu Hypermarket on Sheikh Zayed Road, they have a whole section of dried tea mixes near the international foods aisle. I've seen packs from Al Wadi and Sadaf there for around 12 dirhams each, way cheaper than the import shops. also check the small grocery store behind the Discovery Gardens mosque, the one near the main entrance, they sometimes stock the Al Ain brand sachets near the cashier

Dubai/Sharjah Road Scam?

I helped a guy stranded on the ring road, gave him a ride to Ras Al Khaima after he claimed to have lost his wallet. Turns out he was fine, just jumped out and vanished. Did I get played? damn u basically did a free taxi run to rak. thing is they usually target cars with a single guy driving & look for dubai plates so u look like u got somewhere to be. best move is roll ur window down like two inches, say u already called the cops for them & keep moving, dont even unlock the door

yeah that's a known one on e311 & the sharjah ring road, usually they wave you down near the adnoc or before the rta cameras claiming wallet got lifted. classic play is they ask for a lift to the next emirate then bail once you slow down, sometimes a second guy on a bike is tracking you. next time just call 999 or drop them at the nearest police point, don't let anyone in your car off the highway ngl

The RAK route is the tell. No one genuinely stranded on the ring road needs to get all the way to Ras Al Khaimah, that's a 90 minute drive. These guys work in pairs and the second car picks them up after they hop out, usually somewhere past the Al Sajaa junction or near the ADNOC on E311. If it happens again, tell them you'll drive them to the nearest police station and watch how fast the story changes.
