if you're into more industrial or moody shots, head to the old port area near the fish market. the fishing boats tied up with the rusty cranes in the background give a totally different vibe from the usual postcard stuff. early morning there is best, around 6-7am when the fishermen are unloading and the light is still hazy off the water

honestly the rakoczi museum area is underrated for photos, the old hungarian house has this warm yellow facade that pops against the blue sky. also if you walk up past the tekirdag museum into the residential streets, there's a spot near the sahin kaya mosque where the cobblestone alleys frame the sea perfectly around 5pm. the light gets soft and the shadows stretch across the old wood houses, way less crowded than the promenade

The promenade along the coast near the Rüstem Paşa Camii gives you a great angle of the mosque with the Sea of Marmara behind it. Walk east from there toward the marina and you'll find some nice reflections in the puddles after rain. If you want a higher vantage point, the hill around the Tekirdağ Museum has a view of the whole bay, especially good at sunset when the light hits the old houses.
