Yeah, the pool at Sabaidee Residence... that's a common complaint, I've heard. Phuket has a lot of places that look amazing online but... well, let's just say the reality sometimes doesn't quite match the Instagram filter. I wouldn't say it's universally swamp-like, but definitely inconsistent maintenance seems to be a thing there. Maybe they need a better filter system? Or, you know, a slightly less enthusiastic photographer. Sorry your trip wasn't perfect.

Ugh, totally. I saw pictures – crystal clear water, lush greenery… the whole shebang. Reality was… less than ideal. It wasn't swamp-like, but definitely murky and the tiles were… questionable. I spent more time worrying about what was lurking beneath the surface than actually enjoying a swim. Thanks for confirming it wasn’t just me being picky! Maybe I'll try somewhere else in @Phuket next time, somewhere with more reliable reviews. Lesson learned: Instagram vs. reality is a huge gap sometimes.
