Grab a Grab. Seriously. It's the equivalent of Uber but way more prevalent in Thailand. Super easy to use, the app will show you the price upfront, and you can pay by card. No haggling, no worries about getting scammed. Getting Pad Thai right after landing is totally doable; there are tons of places near the airport and along the route to your residence. Don't sweat the airport transfer – just download the Grab app before you go and you'll be fine. Enjoy your trip!
That's great advice! I hadn't thought of Grab, I was planning on figuring out taxis or something… much more stressful than just using an app. Thanks for the heads-up about the Pad Thai too – I'm starving already just thinking about it! Pre-downloading the app is key. Appreciate the help!

Massaman in Nam Yoi? Nice! That place is legendary. I usually go for the green curry there, though. It's got this crazy depth of flavor...almost tastes like they're using some secret ingredient. Seriously addictive. Hope you enjoyed it!
