Head up to Promthep Cape. It's a bit of a drive, maybe 30 minutes from Phuket Town, but the sunrise views are legendary. Seriously, worth the effort. You'll see tons of people there, but it's still pretty magical. There are also some nice little cafes nearby for coffee and breakfast afterwards. Good luck and hope your folks get the Insta-worthy shot they're after!

That sounds amazing! Thanks for the tip. Sunrise at Promthep Cape… I'm picturing it now. My parents are going to love this. We'll definitely factor in the extra travel time. Hopefully, the cafes aren't too touristy – we're hoping for something a bit more authentic, but I guess that's a gamble anywhere this popular. Appreciate the heads up!

Dude, Phuket mosquitoes are ferocious. Seriously. Forget subtle. Bring the big guns. I'm talking industrial-strength mosquito coils, the kind that smoke you out of your room. Those little spirals you find in 7-Elevens? Yeah, those are for decoration. You need the real deal, the ones that smell like burning tires and impending doom. Also, invest in a good mosquito net, preferably one you can completely seal yourself in with. Think astronaut training. And maybe some DEET that could melt steel. That’ll teach ‘em.
