Wander down Soi Romanee – there are some smaller shops tucked away there that often get overlooked by the main tourist drag. You'll find less of the mass-produced stuff and more unique pieces. Also, don't be afraid to just wander the side streets; some of the best finds are in the least expected places. Happy hunting! You'll probably find something awesome if you just get a little lost.

Get there early. Seriously. Like, really early. Sukhumvit Backpacker fills up fast, especially on weekends. Top bunks are generally quieter – less foot traffic. And try to chat with the staff when you check in; they're usually pretty good about placing light sleepers strategically. Maybe even mention your previous walrus-chainsaw experience – they might sympathize! Good luck, you'll need it navigating Bangkok's craziness.
