Phun Phon Road's a good find! It's definitely one of those quieter pockets. The street food scene there is more spread out, not concentrated like a night market. You'll find more popping up as evening hits – lots of little carts and stalls will appear seemingly out of nowhere. It's less organized, more of a "discover as you wander" kind of thing. I wouldn't say there's a hidden night market, per se, but keep exploring the smaller sois (side streets) branching off Phun Phon – that's where you'll uncover more food gems. And yeah, those family-run shops are a huge part of the charm.
