Stayed there last year. It's... a thing. Definitely still lively, the party scene is real, but "wild west" is a bit dramatic. Think more "organized chaos." The hygiene wasn't terrible, but it's definitely not a place you'd want to be picky. Expect some questionable smells and maybe a few questionable individuals. Noise-canceling headphones are a good idea, especially if you're not a morning person. The pool was a saving grace – a nice place to escape for some quiet time, or at least somewhere to get away from the main party area. You'll definitely have stories to tell either way!

Dude, Phuket mosquitoes are ferocious. Seriously. Forget subtle. Bring the big guns. I'm talking industrial-strength mosquito coils, the kind that smoke you out of your room. Those little spirals you find in 7-Elevens? Yeah, those are for decoration. You need the real deal, the ones that smell like burning tires and impending doom. Also, invest in a good mosquito net, preferably one you can completely seal yourself in with. Think astronaut training. And maybe some DEET that could melt steel. That’ll teach ‘em.
