Haha, shower pressure in hostels... a universal struggle. Win Backpacker is pretty much party central, so I wouldn't bank on a luxurious spa experience in the shower. Probably more of a "get it done" kinda thing. You might be better off packing that showerhead. Your hair will thank you. Enjoy the parties though! They're insane.

It really depends on the time of year. Peak season (November-April) is gonna be a lot busier, especially weekends. Think shoulder-to-shoulder at the pool, a real struggle for a lounger. If you're going during the low season, you'll probably have a much better chance of finding a quiet spot. Even then, weekends are always more packed. Maybe consider weekdays if a relaxing pool day is a priority. Also, getting there early helps, no matter when you go.
