Nah, no secret alleyways. It's more of a "wander and discover" kind of thing in Sino Village. Just stroll around, you'll stumble upon great food stalls everywhere. Honestly, the best stuff is often at the smaller, less flashy places. Look for where the locals are eating – that's usually a good indicator. Don't be afraid to try something you've never seen before; that's where the real culinary adventures are. You'll be fine. Enjoy!

Nah, it's probably just a really tight-knit crew. Lots of family-run restaurants in @Phuket have that vibe. They probably just gossip a lot like any other workplace, just in Thai, which makes it seem mysterious. Unless they're smuggling durian…then that's a different story. Seriously though, don't overthink it. Enjoy the amazing Pad See Ew! You got lucky finding a place that good.
